About Screw Compressors
Unlike piston compressors that pulse air with each stroke, screw compressors use two intermeshing helical rotors to deliver a constant, vibration-free airflow. That makes them ideal for spray booths, sandblasters, plasma cutters and large impact tools.
Entry-level 3kW screw compressors deliver around 10 CFM at 8 bar and can run 100% duty cycle. Step up to 7.5–11kW for body shop work, and 15–22kW for full industrial use. Variable-speed (VSD) models cut electricity bills by 30–50% on partial loads.
