About Air Compressors for Mechanics
Plan on 12–18 CFM at 8 bar to comfortably run a ½″ impact wrench and small angle grinder simultaneously. A 100–200L belt-drive twin-cylinder compressor is the standard pro mechanic setup.
Add an inline water trap, regulator and filter (FRL) close to each tool drop. Mechanics' tools are sensitive to water and oil — keep both out of the lines for long tool life.
