About Air Compressors for Agricultural Use
Most working farms run a 100–270L belt-drive unit with a 3HP+ motor delivering 12–18 CFM. That's enough for ¾″ impact wrenches on tractor wheels, 2″ impacts on heavy machinery and intermittent paint work on implements.
PTO-driven and engine-driven compressors are common on dairy and arable farms for field servicing — look for Hyundai PTO units and Sealey diesel compressor packs.
For most UK farms, a Hyundai HY3150V, SIP Airmate ISBD11/200 or Clarke SE16C200V mounted in the main workshop is the sensible choice.
