About Quiet Pressure Washers
Quietest models run at 70–78 dB at 1 m — equivalent to a normal conversation. Look for induction motors (Karcher K4/K5/K7 Premium, Nilfisk Core Pro, Bosch AdvancedAquatak).
Avoid universal-motor cheap models which run 90–95 dB. Avoid petrol entirely if noise matters — most petrol washers are 95–105 dB.
Cordless 18V/40V models are also relatively quiet but trade off pressure for portability.
