About Cordless Pressure Washers
Most cordless washers run on 18V or 36V (dual-18V) platforms, drawing water from a bucket, water butt or jerry can. Expect 20–40 bar at 2–4 L/min — a fraction of a mains washer, but plenty for light cleaning.
Bosch Fontus, Worx Hydroshot, Karcher KHB cordless, Makita DHW080 and DeWalt DCPW550 are the standout UK models. Battery life is typically 20–30 minutes on full trigger.
Cordless models suit detailing, bike washing, dog grooming and quick patio rinses. For weekly driveway cleans, a mains electric model is still the better tool.
