About Pressure Washers for Cars
Detailers prefer around 110–140 bar at 6–8 L/min — enough pressure to lift dirt but gentle on paint, trim and seals. Most UK detailers run the Kärcher K4/K5, Nilfisk Core 140 or AVA Master P55.
Pair the washer with a quality snow-foam lance (MTM PF22.2 or Karcher Connect & Clean) and a pH-neutral foam like BilberryWheels or Auto Finesse Avalanche.
Avoid turbo nozzles near paintwork — they're for masonry, not detailing. Keep a 30 cm stand-off distance and never spray seals or trim at close range.
