About Three Phase Generators
Three phase power delivers more efficient energy transfer than single phase — three-phase motors are smaller, cheaper and run cooler than single-phase motors of the same power. That's why most industrial machinery is three phase.
Look for three phase generators with 32A and 63A red Commando (CEEform) sockets, plus 13A and 16A blue sockets for single-phase loads. AVR is essential to protect motors and electronics.
Sizing a three phase generator: total your three phase load in kW, add headroom for motor starting (typically 3× the running kW), and pick a generator with a continuous (PRP) rating to match.
